Anytime I get asked for a session in the redwoods I’m not gonna lie, I definitely get pulled outta my comfort zone a bit..... sometimes I need to remember to trust the process and be ok with change.
Change is creative and different and sometimes that’s just exactly what was needed! Ridley you amaze me at how grown up you are. Seems like yesterday you were still a little girl getting your pictures done and now it’s senior year!!

Anytime I get asked for a session in the redwoods I’m not gonna lie, I definitely get pulled outta my comfort zone a bit….. sometimes I need to remember to trust the process and be ok with change. One mom behind the camera trying not to get emotional.

My son asked if I’d take a few photos of him and his girlfriend before she heads off to college, and it ended up being one of my favorite sessions I’ve ever photographed.

As photographers, we’re always preserving other people’s memories. Every once in a while, we get to preserve our own.

Here’s to golden light, and holding onto these moments for just a little bit longer.
