Earlier this summer I had the opportunity to photograph the gorgeous AIMÈE ALVAREZ and we had a fun time down on the river along with a little pool session. I’m finally getting around to editing them. She was lots of fun to work with and I can see why she has such a following.

I thought I’d also use this time to announce the closing of my Wi******er studio effective end of August. If you have sessions booked no worries they will take place at another studio. I’ll be marketing more toward Baltimore, DC and Nova. In the meantime for the last bit of August if you’d like to grab a session I’m offering an unheard of half off my one and two hr sessions that take place now through august 31. That makes my 1hr session 20 edited images $475 and my 2hr session with 40 images $725. DM to grab one of my last remaining dates.

I may have gone a bit overboard for this preview- but how could I not?

10 reasons why Mary+Stephen’s wedding truly was the best day ever.

10. They booked me a while back- one of those bookings that’s so easy, people that just already love your work and really don’t even ask about pricing etc they just know they want you. Those are my people. Pro tip: we love to work with people who are excited to work with us.
9. The venue STONE MANOR BOUTIQUE INN is just so quaint and lovely. The staff is dialed in and things just run smooth- even in the rain- like water off a ducks back 😉
8. Mary is the absolute most beautiful and gracious bride. She was SO full of joy. So full of love and kindness, so not concerned about the rain or messing up her dress. She was just stunning with wet hair and all- you can’t find a more beautiful bride.
7. Awesome vendors who were fun and kind and easy to be with.
6. Stephen was the best groom- he had one of the best aisle reactions I’ve ever seen- his love for Mary is just so obvious and pure.
5. Florals by Jordan & Hess Company are always on point.
4. The live wedding guest painters were so fun and talented- and a huge hit with the guests.
5. The weather went from smoldering humidity to rain, to sun, and back and forth. But there’s no one I’d rather get drenched for and be stuck with frizzy hair than for Mary. Also, if you know me you know by now I quite like a rainy wedding…
4. Sweet family- I’m always watching the family dynamic and love to watch dads with their daughters. Mary and Stephens families were so kind and gracious and fun to photograph.
3. There were plenty of diet cokes available and no one ever gave me a single side eye for drinking my fair share 🙃
2. It was just an all around perfect day. Capturing love stories is just an amazing gift. After 14 years I’m still not tired of it.
And 1- I had so many sweet moments from this wedding that I couldn’t fit them in the collage so you’ll have to watch my stories for the extras.

You know you have a good one when right after the ceremony when everyone is talking and congratulating and the overstimulation of noise and movement takes over, but Ashley’s new husband stepped away from his bride and everyone to console Ashley’s little wild one- who was having a whole moment, just sobbing- bc as it turns out- she was HAPPY 😭😭😭

Tyler stepped in to comfort the little girl who was having a bit of time regulating her big emotions.

Two things here- your wild ones are always going to be your deep feelers and thinkers and lovers- the ones who will be sobbing when everyone else in the moment, the wild ones will literally become the moment. And two, as photographer, we are always looking for these little moments, moments that can be easily overlooked but that we intuitively find and know that someday these pictures will represent so much more than a mini menty B- but the moment a bonus man became her 2nd daddy. And a moment where the tiniest girl in the room with the biggest feelings was reminded that it was her big day too and that someone just being with her and her tears and a big hug will make everything better💕

Hi happy weekend! I thought I’d do a flash sale while I’m home all day editing .

So if you’ve wanted to grab a bo***ir session or a bridal bo***ir, intimate maternity or couples bo***ir here’s your chance!

I’m going to offer one of each: one of my 1 hr sessions and one of my 2hr sessions at a big discount. Sale will last through tmrw (Sunday) night or until the two sessions are sold. Sessions are paid in full now and can be used anytime in the next year.

The1 hr session will come with 25 edited images and regular price is $950 I’m going to offer one at the sale price of $650.

My 2 hr session is usually $1450 and comes with 40 edited digital images. I’m offering 1 only for $950 that’s $550 off regular price.

You can DM me to grab, again there is just one of each and they are good at my Wi******er studio. I can book you for dc or Baltimore but there will be a studio rental fee in addition to the session payable at a later date.

Good morning- I’m posting a model call for two couples for bo***ir. One is for a male/female couple and is for a same s*x female couple. You’ll get a full session with edited gallery.

Must be ok with images used on socials and website. You just pay $150 for part of the studio rental fee in Baltimore. Must be comfortable in front of camera and with intimacy and taking direction.
