/ : State representative and Connecticut gubernatorial candidate Josh Elliott continued his six-day, thirteen-city tour around the state with four stops yesterday [6/13/2026]. His focus has been on taxing the state's wealthiest residents as a way to pay for a variety of social programs - similar to what Massachusetts has tried with its "millionaire's tax". He's been introduced by a variety of speakers along the way, including fellow Progressive Caucus member Anne Hughes in [1-3] and City Council member Darlene Young in [4-9]. Today Mr. Elliot will visit Hartford, New Britain, and Middletown, with the Democratic primary for governor now 58 days away.
