When to the flowers so beautiful
The Father gave a name,
Back came a little blue-eyed one
(All timidly it came);
And standing at its Father’s feet,
And gazing in His face,
It said in low and trembling tones,
“Dear God, the name Thou gavest me,
Alas! I have forgot.”
Then kindly looked the Father down,
And said, “Forget Me Not.”

And be sure to get closer to the ground. That is where these tiny beauties were found.

“...for the growing good of the world is partly dependent on unhistoric acts; and that things are not so ill with you and me as they might have been, is half owing to the number who lived faithfully a hidden life, and rest in unvisited tombs.” - George Eliot
