There are some weddings where you photograph the day… and then there are weddings where you feel the connection so deeply that you almost forget everything else is happening around you.
Chrissy & Connor were the latter. 🤍
From the very beginning, their day felt like them. A little nostalgic, a little unconventional, deeply rooted in family, and so incredibly full of love.
There was the family car her dad has had since he was 19. There was a tiny church, with absolutely zero AC in August 😂 but it was the church where generations of family had been married, so there was nowhere else they would have rather said I do.
And then there was their reception at Basil. Connor’s second home as the head chef, and a place that somehow made the entire evening feel even more personal. It wasn't just a reception venue. It was their people, their family, their home. The dance floor stayed full. The laughter was constant. Family was everywhere. So many tears were shed, ALL day long.
But honestly? The thing I’ll remember most is Chrissy and Connor themselves. It was almost like the whole day was happening around them, and they had no clue. 😂 They were so completely wrapped up in each other. The kind of connection where the rest of the room disappears for a minute. Yes, it was their wedding day. But watching them together, you would have thought they were the only two people there.
Chrissy & Connor, you two are truly a match made in heaven. Your day was wildly beautiful, incredibly wholesome, and so unmistakably you. Thank you for letting me document it. 🤍 Now excuse me while I go stare at these photos all over again. 🥹✨
