Loved celebrating Patricia and Nathan at the beautiful Williamsburg Inn!

As ceremony time approached, a storm started rolling in, but thankfully it passed right around us and left us with the perfect overcast sky to celebrate. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Patricia and Nathan had such a joyful, intimate wedding day.

And thanks to the incredible Catie Burnett and Yuani Valentine , everything came together beautifully from beginning to end!

Cool weather and temperatures under 80 degrees for a July wedding? We’ll take it!

What a beautiful day celebrating Hannah and Mike. Every detail reflected timeless elegance, from the stunning white florals to their heartfelt ceremony at St. Olaf, where their faith was at the center of the day. They celebrated alongside family and friends with a classic reception at the Williamsburg Inn, one of my favorite venues for an elegant wedding.

It was such an honor to capture the beginning of their marriage. Congratulations, Hannah and Mike! And a huge thank you to the incredible team of vendors whose talent and care made this day so special.

Sneak peek from Dave and Emily’s wedding portraits!

We loved celebrating with these two on Saturday at The Maine. While it was one of the most humid days we’ve had this summer, the joy never faded.

One of my favorite moments of the day was listening to Dave’s vows and later his reception speech. They were heartfelt, genuine, and had everyone laughing at just the right moments. It was such a beautiful reflection of the love, friendship, and joy these two share.

Congratulations, Dave and Emily! We are so excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to share more from your incredible day.

So glad we captured Emily and Dave’s engagement session in Colonial Williamsburg before the heat wave and the July 4th crowds arrived for the 250th celebrations!

We had such a beautiful evening wandering through some of my favorite spots, stopping by the Governor’s Palace, and enjoying a surprisingly peaceful night in Colonial Williamsburg.

Now that the heat and the crowds are officially here, I am feeling extra thankful for that beautiful evening! Cannot wait to celebrate these two on their wedding day!

Some wedding days tell a story long before the vows begin.

Erika and Rohan met as students at William & Mary, and it was such a joy to spend time revisiting the places where their story first unfolded. From walks through campus to the familiar streets of Colonial Williamsburg, every stop carried a memory and made the day even more meaningful.

They exchanged vows in the historic Wren Chapel, surrounded by family and friends, and celebrated over an incredible reception at Blue Talon. It was the perfect reflection of a relationship built on friendship and so much joy.

The summer heat was no match for these two. Congratulations, Erika and Rohan. It was an honor to capture your wedding in the place where your love story began!

Headed to the Wren Chapel today, and it has me reminiscing about this beautiful summer William & Mary wedding and what a meaningful place it is to say “I do.” There is something so special about beginning your marriage in the place where late night study sessions, lifelong friendships, and so many memories were made.

For William & Mary alumni, a Wren Chapel wedding is more than a beautiful venue. It is coming home.

As the sun dips lower, the brick streets glow, the gardens come alive, and every corner feels a little more magical. It’s the perfect backdrop for an intimate ceremony, quiet vows, or portraits that feel timeless.

Sometimes all you need is the two of you, a beautiful place, and the beginning of forever.

Loved kicking off a long weekend celebrating Sheena & Cory at New Branch Farms!

This was our first time photographing there, and it could not have been a more beautiful day. We were watching the forecast all week anticipating rain, but instead, a huge cloud rolled in and gave us the dreamiest soft light without the storm.

Beautiful scenery, lovely weather, and such a joyful couple to celebrate. Congratulations to these two!
