A moment for the groom 🤌🏼

I love making space on a wedding day for the groom to have photos that feel just as intentional, timeless, and him. A few quiet minutes before everything begins — fixing the cuffs, buttoning the jacket, soaking it all in, and documenting what it felt like right before he married his girl.

This day was the sweetest beginning-of-fall kind of day — warm sunshine, hints of autumn starting to show up, and the prettiest afternoon at Amber Grove.

This one will always feel a little extra special to me because Kylee is my husband’s cousin. Now I get to call these two family too :’)

One of the sweetest parts of photographing weddings is getting to do more than simply document a day. I get to know people, hear their stories, walk alongside them in such a meaningful season of life, and sometimes, like with these two, continue doing life together long after the gallery is delivered.

I’ll never get over the privilege of being invited into these moments — the big ones, the quiet ones, and all the little in-between ones.

The sweetest September day, the best people, and even a cameo from Amber Grove’s resident orange cat. What more could you want? 😂🤍🐈
