The Lord has such a sweet way of weaving stories together.

I first met Lauren during my junior year of high school when I visited her church’s youth group. She and a friend were some of the first people to welcome me, introduce themselves, and make me feel included.

A few years later, I interned at that same church and ended up serving as a counselor during youth camp. Lauren was in my cabin that week, and I still remember that being the summer she first liked Aiden.

And now, years later, I had the privilege of documenting their wedding day.

Watching them stand before God, surrounded by family and friends, was a reminder that the Lord is always at work—writing stories, guiding steps, and weaving together details we could never plan ourselves.

What a joy it was to celebrate the beginning of this new chapter for the McGowans. 🤍

A rainy day, soft colors, handwritten vows, and so much joy. Somehow the rain made everything feel even sweeter.

Getting to witness these two from the very beginning of their story years ago to now — married — felt really special. So thankful I got to document a day that felt this genuine and full of love 🌧️🤍💍
