Richmond may have just become one of my new favorite places to work with dancers! 🙌🏾🤗

Bella’s session took us from the views at Libby Hill Park to the architecture of Main Street Station, and Richmond definitely gave us a little bit of everything.

Nothing like a little skyline, a beautiful location, and some incredible dance lines to close out the weekend. 📸🩰

There are moments in photography that remind you why you picked up a camera in the first place.

Tonight was one of those moments.

I had the incredible honor of serving as one of the Official Photographers for the Miss Virginia Organization as we crowned our new titleholders. Congratulations to our newly crowned Miss Virginia, Maddie Marchant, and Miss Virginia's Teen, Caedyn Riddle. Watching your dreams become reality was something truly special to witness.

From the anticipation before the announcement, to the crowning, to the tears, smiles, embraces, and celebration that followed, every moment reminded me that photography is about so much more than creating beautiful images. It's about preserving history.

Thank you to the Miss Virginia Opportunity for trusting me to document such an unforgettable evening. It has been a privilege to capture the remarkable women who make this organization so special throughout the week.

To every delegate, volunteer, family member, and supporter—thank you for allowing me to tell a small part of your story through my lens.

Congratulations once again to Maddie and Caedyn. Your year of service begins now, and I can't wait to see all that you'll accomplish.

We asked the kiddos to share a little message for their MVP moms… and let’s just say tissues may be required 🥹✨
