We asked ChatGPT to look at these brand photos of our client Kristin Henderson and tell us what they communicated about her and her business.

We didn’t give it her brand strategy or explain who her ideal client was; we just gave it the photos.

And this is what it saw:
“She knows her s**t.
She won’t make me feel stupid.

YES.

Because that’s exactly the point.

When we plan a branding session, we’re not only asking:

Hot take from a branding photographer: looking “professional” is a pretty low bar 😬

Your headshot is often sitting next to your offer, your credentials, your About page, your speaking bio, your LinkedIn profile or the email asking someone to trust you with their money.

I don’t just want you to look qualified.

I want your photos to communicate something about what it would actually feel like to work with you.

Are you warm? Bold? Calm? Brilliant? Playful? Direct? Creative? The person who immediately makes everyone else in the room feel comfortable?

I want to photograph THAT person.

Because the goal isn’t to turn you into some polished, professional version of yourself for an hour.

It’s to capture the version of you your clients already know and love.

So when someone finally meets you after seeing you online, there’s no disconnect.

Just:

But I’d also be thinking about everything you’re going to want to SAY over the next 90 days.
