Capturing all of our images posted for this T10T category spanning the last 10 weeks, we present to you our collection of the Giant Wheel. We were especially proud to share these with you all, especially since some go back 30+ years!

With the conclusion of this T10T category, our new category begins next Tuesday, 9/15. Our new category will showcase the Hotel Tour’s Featured Locations numbers 11-20 spanning from August 2024 - May 2026. If you’re new to WWHT, you’ll want to follow along on Part 2 of where we’ve been! (Featured Locations 1-10 was a previous T10T category recently presented)

The last weekend of August and the tail-end of summer always brings an array of mixed emotions for beachgoers; Labor Day is fast approaching, school’s back in session or about to be, however the beach town aura still has much life left to it for the remainder of the season in a community like the Wildwoods. When it comes to the south corner of Ocean and East Bennett Avenues, life not only remains at this lodging destination, it has completely been reborn and rejuvenated…

Formerly the Windward Motel, Isla greets you like an old friend yet impresses you like a celebrity you just met. All-new and updated features and aesthetics adorn the property with plenty of room options available for your group to visit. The location of the motel is mere steps away from the beach and boardwalk, and only a short distance away from the Convention Center and piers. Staying right on Ocean Avenue allows you to catch some of the south views of “hotel row”, where the vibrant colors of many motel signs shine bright through the night into Wildwood Crest. Most importantly, Isla is a year-round motel!

Our suite at the Isla was nothing short of amazing. On the second floor, all rooms have extra-high ceilings which made our room feel even larger than it was before we viewed the connecting suite; next to us was an adjoining two bedroom suite with a full kitchen and living room that is not commonly found in Wildwood motels. Absolutely no expense was spared on comfort and cleanliness, as both units were visited easily felt like being in your own home. We’re happy to say once again that we have had successful and positive experience; WWHT couldn’t be happier for experiencing this unique location, and we are thrilled to add another great facility to our list of recommendations!

WWHT would like to extend a warm and sincerest thanks to the staff and partners at Isla for this incredible opportunity, especially for being the first Wildwoods media outlet to experience this absolutely beautiful location! “Never let the boardwalk get bored”— what a great message…

When this shot was taken in early October ‘25, the final stretch of the season was in full swing; the Race of Gentlemen, Morey’s Oktoberfest, and a few year-end events were still on the books to conclude the year. Not long after this photo, the Giant Wheel would be disassembled for a complete rebuild and overhaul lasting through the offseason. It was our last image of the wheel assembled before an impromptu day-trip a couple of months later, when she was missing from the Wildwoods skyline.

With the conclusion of this T10T category, our compilation post follows next week before a new category begins on 9/15. Next week our new category will be announced, and you won’t want to miss it!

In the height of summer, WWHT found ourselves in search of a spur-of-the-moment weekend getaway. You can probably relate to the feeling— sometimes the weeks just run together with so much going on, the day-to-day grind catches up to you, and you just need a break, plain and simple. When you do finally make your escape, you find that perfect hideaway to switch on your relaxation mode… and for us that brought us to the Saratoga Inn!

Located Ocean Avenue between E Stanton & E Farragut, the Saratoga’s brick exterior charm draws you into a space that gives an extra homey feeling just a few steps off the beach. Friendly and welcoming staff greet you upon check in, assuring that your vacation needs are met during your stay. The spacious pool area was filled with the sound of families enjoying the time, the season, the overall summer spirit. After sunset, the property was filled with the sounds of the ocean adorned with the glow of the exterior lighting, completing the entire aura of staying at any Wildwoods hotel/motel.

WWHT booked a Two Room Efficiency through Booking.com at a total cost of $191.35 for one night, and we are happy to say that we have had successful and positive experience. Our room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our visit; this location brought a lot of great opportunities for photos, many of which we will share in future posts. We couldn’t be happier for experiencing this unique location, and we are thrilled to add another great facility to our list of recommendations!

Be sure to also check out Aladdin’s Beach Shack Restaurant located in the motel on the E Farragut side for breakfast, lunch, and sweet treats!

Our Number 2 post for this week’s Giant Wheel T10T is from May 2026. At the time of this photo, the wheel’s reconstruction was nearly complete; only a couple of cars and some lighting work was still needed before the refurbishment was finished. This view of the backside of the wheel against the water park’s beginning is a view we enjoy capturing from time to time, despite Raging Waters not being open yet at the time of this photo.

2026 Week 33 review!

Another collection of our shots around the Wildwoods!

In this photo set is this week’s — The Giant Wheel since we missed posting it here on fb on Tuesday.

Our Number 3 post for this week’s Giant Wheel T10T is a 4-part time lapse series. One of our favorite spots to capture the wheel is from Schellenger Ave and the Boardwalk; included are views from September 2023, April 2024, December 2025, and June 2026. The December 2025 image captures a strange time of not seeing the wheel on the beach due to its rehabilitation and rebuilding over the winter into early 2026.

We also unveiled our graphics and logos for white apparel which we will be releasing soon! T shirts and hoodies will be available in both black and white; more to come as progress continues!
