Played around with the new Psycho Kalaidascope Filter from with a model who hired me to do her headshots for Models and Images here in Wichita. I'd asked Vy if she wouldn't mind letting me test out the new filter to see how it would come out with some gels. It's going to be fun to play with during receptions at weddings for sure. Now I need together the Psycho Black Hole filter next. can't recommend SZ Filters enough because the quality is superb!

How I got the shot.....

Had some fun at Shutterfest this year with Arya with gels, a water hose, and some lights to create some fun water images of her dance. (Sorry insta crops weird btw). I think she did great and considering I only had 30 minutes to catch a few shots I think they turned out pretty great. Next year I wanna play with the rainbow though and see if I can get that to show through in the water. I am betting I can do it lol! Thanks Amanda for letting me photograph your daughter! Can't wait to see you both next year!

Happiness is seeing how incredible your photos look printed instead of just digitals on a screen. The colors are richer and it demands emotion that a screen just can't replicate. and I created this photo at last year. Every year Canon is a vendor and allows photographers to get a print made. I always gift one of my models each year with a print because they seriously work hard too! Can't wait for Shutterfest 2027!

Your brand deserves more than “a quick headshot.”

This is Elizabeth Dunn and this session is exactly why I love branding portraits. We created a full gallery with range: confident, approachable, editorial, and unmistakably her. Because when your image matches your expertise, people feel it before you ever say a word. If you’re building a business, leveling up your career, launching something new, or simply ready to look as powerful as you are… this is your sign.

That dress + that light = a whole cinematic moment.
Quince season is one of my favorites — because these portraits become family treasures.
If you’re planning a quinceañera and want imagery that feels timeless, cinematic, and beautifully guided from start to finish, send me a message and I’ll share availability. Drop a 💙 if you’re obsessed.

Rain. Neon. Edge. Elegance.

This is your reminder: You don’t have to wait for “perfect conditions” to create art. Sometimes the storm is the story.

Which detail pulls you in first — the violet rain or the red coat? 💜❤️
