CHLOE DAVIS | MULVANE CLASS OF 2027

A little bit of everything and a race against the sunset!

We kicked off Chloe's senior session at the football field for some dance pictures before heading downtown Mulvane to make the most of the little bit of daylight we had left.

Sometimes that last half hour or so of sunlight ends up being some of the best light of the day!

SIERRA SCHMITZ | MULVANE CLASS OF 2027

Some senior sessions are a little more special than others!

I've known Sierra since she was in 7th grade, back when I had the opportunity to coach her. Fast forward a few years, and here we are taking her senior pictures. It's crazy how quickly time flies!

One of my favorite things about senior photography is finding ways to make each session personal. For Sierra, that meant incorporating the cheer uniforms that have been such a big part of her journey over the years.

Different uniforms, different seasons, and a whole lot of memories.

Sierra, thank you for trusting me to capture such an important milestone. It's been awesome watching you grow over the years, and I'm excited to see what your senior year has in store!

THE CAINE TRAIN HAS BEEN DERAILED!

The tracks have been torn up, the brakes have been slammed, and the Caine Train has officially reached the end of the line!

Tommy 2 Good, the hometown hero, did what many thought couldn't be done, dethroning "Sugar" Caine Carter and bringing his championship reign to a screeching halt!

College football is a whole different animal compared to 4A high school football.

My first Southwestern College Football game did not disappoint.

The game is faster. The athletes are bigger, stronger, and quicker. There are more officials, less room to work on the sidelines, and a whole lot more happening around you.

Everything is bigger. Everything moves faster. And as a photographer, you have a lot less time to react.

I've spent years shooting high school football, but stepping onto the sidelines of a college game is a completely different experience. It's challenging, it's an adjustment, and it's exactly the kind of thing that makes me want to keep getting better.

And every once in a while, you catch a moment like this.

MY FAVORITE SEASON OF THE YEAR IS ALMOST HERE!

Basketball was, is, and always will be my favorite sport. Nothing else really comes close.

There's an intensity to college basketball that's hard to put into words. The physicality, the pace, the atmosphere, the battles under the basket. Every possession matters, momentum can change in seconds, and nobody gives an inch without a fight.

It's everything I love about sports.

This will be my second season photographing Southwestern College Men's Basketball, and I'm looking forward to another year on that purple and black baseline.

Today I had the opportunity to help out with their media day for the first time. Pretty cool experience getting to be a small part of the process and capture some of these guys before the season gets underway.

BRING ON THE JINX AND BUILDER BASKETBALL!

Anthony Jelinek | Mulvane Senior 2027

There's just something about Kansas.

The open pastures. The country roads. The farm equipment. The trucks. The kind of places where hard work and hometown roots are part of everyday life.

We took a little different approach to senior pictures with Anthony, and honestly, we loved every minute of it.

No fancy locations. No elaborate setups. Just a beautiful Kansas evening, a little country scenery, and a senior session that felt genuine.

Because that's what senior pictures should be about. Capturing who you are, where you come from, and the things that make your story yours.

This one just felt like Kansas.
