🚨 ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨
I’ve been thinking about this a lot, and I’ve made a decision about what I’m comfortable sharing on my photography page.
After the recent 7th Circuit ruling involving AI generated CSAM and seeing just how far AI can take someone’s image, I no longer feel comfortable posting identifiable photos of children. Model release or not.
I’m a mom, and I don’t post my own child online. I don’t feel right having a different standard for the children I photograph.
I’ve gone back through my page and removed all of the previous posts showing identifiable children, and I won’t be posting them moving forward.
Will this affect my business? Maybe. Will I have less content to share? Probably.
But I’m okay with that.
A signed model release doesn’t change how I feel about protecting a child’s image once it’s online.
I’d rather have less content than knowingly contribute to something that could potentially put a child at risk.
Some things are more important than content.🤍
Signed,
just a mom who will do anything to protect these babies. 🤍
