Some photo sessions are about perfect smiles.

Others are about preserving what a season of life actually felt like.

Grandma and Grandpa surrounded by grandchildren. Cousins piled on top of each other. Sticky fingers, rainbow popsicles, running barefoot through the grass, and the kind of laughter that can’t be posed.

These are the moments that become the stories told years from now.

What a gift it was to spend a morning documenting this beautiful family and the love that surrounds them. 💙

She looked like she stepped out of a fairytale.

Wrapped in crimson silk and surrounded by wild grasses, hidden pathways, and golden evening light, we spent the night chasing beautiful moments and creating something that felt a little bit magical.

These are the sessions that remind me why I fell in love with photography—turning fleeting moments into stories that feel timeless.

And because every fairytale needs a plot twist…

We decided to end the evening by sending a lantern into the sky.

The lantern caught fire.

It fell.

Onto the dress.

Thankfully, everyone was okay, and we left with an unforgettable story to tell alongside these photos. 😂🔥

Sometimes the best images come from a little creativity, a little adventure, and apparently a slightly questionable lantern decision.

Last year, I had the honor of capturing memories for Aleyna’s mom. This year, they invited me back to celebrate another milestone—Aleyna’s graduation.

There’s something incredibly meaningful about being welcomed back by a family to document another chapter of their story. From celebrating one season of life to the next, it’s a privilege I’ll never take for granted.
