Photography is so much more than clicking a shutter. 📸

Yesterday I had the opportunity to photograph Whitehall’s newest mural, and creating the final image was a project all on its own.

Because of the mural’s size, I photographed it in sections using exposure bracketing, merged the images in Lightroom, then stitched everything together in Photoshop. The final image isn’t perfect (photomerge never is 😅), but it’s an incredible starting point and a fun reminder that photography is often part art, part technology, and part problem-solving.

I love projects like this that challenge me while helping showcase the beauty of our community. 🧡

Thank you to the artists who created such a stunning addition to downtown Whitehall!

Three years. 🤍

I've had the privilege of photographing this sweet family for three years in a row, and watching these girls grow is one of my favorite parts of this job.

This year's session started with morning fog at Svenson Park and ended with giggles, wildflowers, and so many little moments that parents never want to forget.

Thank you for trusting me with your memories year after year. It truly means the world. 🌿

When I asked their secret to a happy marriage, their answer was simple: caring for one another, loving your family, and honoring the big "C"—commitment.

A few weeks ago, Motherhood in Bloom was just an idea.

At the end of May, six families gathered at The Picker's Patch to celebrate motherhood, create memories, and donate diapers and wipes for Mission for Area People. 🤍

From babies and toddlers to grandmas and empty nesters, every season of motherhood was represented, and my heart is so full.

I am incredibly grateful to everyone who participated, donated, shared the event, and helped turn this little dream into reality.
