King John's Castle

Old mansions are very difficult to maintain these days. Here, the rear of Madewood Plantation House is not quite as impressive as the front; strictly business! Madewood is in Assumption Parish, along Bayou Lafourche, near Napoleonville, Louisiana.

A tiny but snug fisherman's cottage on the Di**le Peninsula, Co. Kerry, Ireland. From the small size, I suspect that this cottage was probably used for storage, rather than as living quarters.
