Spent the long weekend on the Beartooth Highway from Red Lodge to Cooke City, Montana & beyond with incredible weather, big views, and a deeper appreciation for small mountain towns in this region.

Reminder to keep saying yes to explore your backyard & you might just walk away with memories you’ll never forget. Swipe to the end for the one who waited patiently, but is also too clumsy to get down a line so steep 😜

We have a lot to learn from dogs.

Zoë sat here for about 30 minutes taking in the new smells, watching the colors change over the lake, and listening to the wind, crickets, distant boats, and a couple camera shutter clicks.

After experiencing all the crowds and chaos of Yellowstone National Park, it was the peaceful, quiet night we all needed.

We didn’t expect to find ourselves camping in Idaho on Sunday night, but sure glad we did 🐾🏕️

In the middle of the ride, two e-bikers pulled up behind me convinced I spotted a bear and asked what I saw. I pointed at the view and said, this. Scroll for the view that most visitors breeze over just before the ascent.

Trying my hand at flash photography and I’m obsessed. How’d I do?

It’s quite easy to merge hobbies when there’s beautiful craftsmanship behind an outdoor sport. This might be a fishing centric summer now that there’s a raft involved. Here for the little moments of prep & details leading up to big adventures.
