The second I found out Shelby was pregnant at the same time as Sophia, I texted Soph “SISTER SHOOT” and we got to planning 🥹🥹 THEN Rachel found out she was expecting too and we turned it into a bigger sister shoot.

Sweet Halle was born with congenital heart disease, specifically CCTGA, VSD, and pulmonary stenosis. This is a rare and complex combination of heart defects, affecting only a small number of children, and requires a major surgical repair to redirect blood flow in her heart. ❤️‍🩹

I photographed this family just days before they left for New York, where Halle would undergo major heart surgery.

Now, Halle is HOME. 🥹❤️

Looking back at these photos knowing what this little girl and her family were about to face makes them that much more special. So much strength, so much love, and one incredibly brave little girl. ❤️

i’m Paige, or P, the girl behind the camera at Paige Carr Photography! A few things about me:

💻 my full-time gig is graphic design + social media strategy, and I’ve been running my own creative business since 2020.

👧🏼👶🏼 mama to my two girls, Hartford (3) + Evie (10 months)

🤍 married to my husband, Zach, + have been with him for 10 years.

🐱 we have 2 kitties, Reign + Moshie… AND a turtle + lots of fishies

📺 I LOVE pop culture and I loveeeee TV shows. If you ever need a recommendation, I’m your girl 😉

🦋 I was diagnosed with MS in November, and I’m trying to be a positive example of what a full, happy, creative life with a disability can look like.

📍 michigan born + raised. specifically raised in macomb + troy

✨ usually juggling motherhood, two businesses, way too many ideas, and approximately 47 tabs open at all times.

This is the kind of stuff that makes me want to cry 🥹😭

I could tell you all day long how much I love what I do, but THESE texts are why I keep picking up my camera.

“You captured my whole world.”
“I’ve got tears.”
“You have a gift.”
“I’m obsessed.”
“You are a magician.”
Like??? Are you kidding me?? 😭

Getting to capture your families, your babies, your love, and all the little seasons of life you wish you could freeze forever is something I will never take for granted.

And knowing the photos mean this much to you means everything to me, too. 🤍
