In home sessions carry so much weight (in the best way) because this home also represents a season of life, whether it be your baby’s first home, your first home as a couple, a home where many memories are made and more. In home sessions always are a favorite since there are so many spaces to use to tell a story

What if I told you that you can have the best of both worlds, you want photos that capture that time in the hospital, where time moves so slowly, and everything is a couple short months away from feeling like a fever dream, but you don’t want a birth photographer in your space in a time you are so vulnerable (labor).

Fresh 48 sessions allow you to do exactly that, and capture the bittersweet moment of your older babies meeting your new baby. It’s one of those sessions that it’s hard to not capture true feeling, because when you look at the photos it brings you right back to postpartum, to the smell of the hospital room, to the sound of fresh baby cries, to the freshly showered postpartum feeling.

Fresh48 sessions also aren’t quite as pricey as birth sessions since there isn’t a sense of urgency in being “on call” and it’s not longer than an hour session!

As a birth and newborn photographer in Indianapolis, fresh 48 sessions are always one I’d recommend if you are wanting to document your family’s story

I didn’t have any expectations for this year, I’m honestly shocked I’m even able to make a post like this, since this year started with having a baby, and then an out of state move to somewhere I didn’t know anyone. I had no idea when my business would get up and going and start to thrive.

When I say my expectations were exceeded tenfold, I mean it, you guys have showed up for me in the best way. It’s my dream to photograph your families in a way that makes you so glad you invested in photos, I know it’s hard to pull the trigger sometimes between finances, confidence issues and chaotic kiddos but man when you decided to actually do it, I pour so much into what we create so you walk away feeling like you can’t believe you didn’t make the decision sooner.

You all have allowed that dream to come true. I feel like not only my family but my business has found a home here. I have so much planned for 2026 and I can’t wait to see how this year shapes my business, how many new people I meet, how many beautiful galleries we can create together and more. Truly from the bottom of my heart, I appreciate each and every one of you 🩷🩷🩷
