We are heading into election time and our phones are inundated with political texts. Fb is plastered with: "The Democrats did this & the Republicans did that!" Who's right & who is wrong?! It's exasperating and appalling to see the animosity in some people at election time! As Christians, what do we do in these times?
As I was reading in my Bible Study this morning, I read the following & it sums it up very simply!
"AS CHRISTIANS, we are NOT called to live politically, and we are definitely NOT called to live fearfully. Instead, we are to live BIBLICALLY, which means we've got to find out what GOD wants us to do! We have got to exalt GOD'S truth above every other opinion.
In Isaiah 8:11-13, God warns the prophet NOT to 'follow the ways of this people.' But He goes on to give instructions that seem especially pertinent today: = Isaiah 8:11-13: The Lord has given me a strong warning NOT to think like everyone ese does. He said, "Don't call everything a conspiracy like they do, and don't live in dread of what frightens them.

Make the Lord of Heaven's Armies holy in your life. HE is the one you should fear. HE is the one that should make you tremble...
vs. 17: I will put my hope in HIM.

Psalm 63:1-3 O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you.
My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water.

I have seen you in your sanctuary and gazed upon your power and glory. Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you!
