Happy 10th Anniversary to my business!!! I can hardly believe it's been a decade already!!! So much has happened. I've had some of the best and worst experiences over the last ten years. I've cried happy, thoughtful, caught up in the moment, sad, angry, and frustrated tears. I've laughed with so many of you. I've been given countless hugs, high fives, and fist bumps. I've had so many amazing conversations and made a lot of friends through this wonderful venture.
The growth for me as a person, business woman, photographer, and beyond has been incredibly humbling. There's so much I didn't know, but didn't realize I didn't know. There has been a lot to learn and honestly, there still is and there always should be. We can all continue to grow, learn, and evolve as time goes by. I'm so thankful to each of you that has been part of this journey. Each client, fellow business owner, friend, and family member that has shown support and wanted to see this grow, thank you. Every booking, review, post share, comment, referral, and beyond has helped more than you know.
My biggest thanks always goes to Dola. She's the one that gave me the push 10 years ago and was my first client. If it weren't for her, I don't know that I ever would have gotten the confidence to do this. I'm so thankful for her unwavering support from the very beginning. I love you so much, lady!!
Thank you to my husband, who has been my biggest supporter these past 10 years. From helping with setup in my studio and running things to me at a wedding that I forgot to loading my car and unloading at the end of a long day, he's been absolutely phenomenal. He's there for every stage of an event, from when someone books me to after I come home from it a year later. He's there when I've had the best time and want to recount the amazing time I had and he's there when things didn't go as planned and I need to vent. He gives me ideas for sessions, how to promote, and ways to grow my business. He's been my help a few times at events when I've needed it too. He's been there every step of the way and I feel so blessed. He keeps giving me the push I need each day and believes in me, even when I lose sight of myself. He's been the best silent partner ever. It's technically just my baby, but really, he's been part of this from day one. Thank you doesn't feel like enough, but thank you even still. I love you, with all I have.
Thank you to my son, my most amazing assistant!! I've gotten to see you grow so much over the years. From that very first event you helped me with to today, you've really found yourself. I'm so proud of you!! You do what is needed and now, you often know what it is that needs to be done before I even ask. You look after me when we're at an event. You keep me hydrated and remind me to take care of myself. You make me laugh. You make every event more fun and I'm so blessed to have you by my side at so many events. Your help means so much to me. From that very first time you poked your head into my studio during a session and got a kiddo to laugh and smile that hadn't been feeling it, I knew there was something special starting. I'm so thankful and feel so blessed. I love you, more than life.
Once again, thank you to all of you that has been with me on this journey. I appreciate each of you more than words can say. You've helped me along the way. Every success is partly due to all you've done. Every stumble has been easier to get through with you lifting me up. Thank you!!! Here's to another 10 years!!! Cheers!!!
A look into the past, my first session to today, what a difference 10 years makes and I've loved every chance to learn and grow. Every memory I've helped you make is one I've gotten to keep for myself as well. Thank you for sharing your lives with me and being part of mine. I love you all!!
