We never know what beauty or intricate detail will remain in any given site. Even less in abandoned religious institutions. The tiny crosses cut into the altar, the stained glass, the paintings, the iron work. Most items may be gone, trashed, or in some state of disrepair, but whatever we find holds it's own beauty. Never stop exploring.. This too was at or just after sunrise. We entered before dawn and had to wait on God's sun light!

Entertain Ourselves, Check.

Sometimes you just have to add a lil extra goofy to the explorations. Rita knows how to play along! I think she secretly likes being a child with beef. They are both squirrels. Easily distracted and easily entertained. Here is to many more years of this lifestyle together!
