It Really Does Have It All

This was such a fun stop. An abandoned gentlemen’s club in the midwest. Most of the items remained here, even the last list of scheduled dancers! This place closed in a hurry, but now we get to “take a lap”! Lappers for everyone

Constructed in 1901, the Laclede Power Company building is part of the North Riverfront Industrial Historic District in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. This building is believed to be one of the earliest electrical generating facilities still in existence in the City.

Pull The Other One
The blaring of an active fire alarm is a new level of unsettling. This alarm had been going off for over a week, but that didn’t do anything to calm my nerves. We were fairly certain we were alone, yet anyone’s approaching footsteps would’ve been covered by the noise. The added “note” on the floor spelled out in books was a strange addition.

“I’m Unsure If He’s Doing It Right”.. “Just Leave Him Be”

Beef is a “treasure trove of linguistic anomalies” mixed with completely random facts. Sometimes though, he has been known to make up random bits of information. Not that he is trying to mislead anyone, just that the wires get crossed in that jumbled mess of squirrel’s nest he calls a brain. Bare with us, he is occasionally humorous in the long run.. Abandoned and dead ended railway, bandos in the foreground, and ghostsign in the background…beef being beef.. CHECK!

Time Passes Strangely At Bandos

Either you’re too early or just a bit too late. Sometimes 10 minutes explore time feels like an hour, while the opposite can also be true. I never know how each site or its stressors will affect me. Sometimes we plan for a sunrise and a shiny abandoned greenhouse “gets in the way”! There will be other sunrises. That rooster welcoming actual sunrise at the very end is a nice touch, Thank You Mother Nature!
