Good afternoon!
Today, I’m sharing my latest photos, which I actually shot yesterday. You might be thinking, “Wait, Kevin took these photos—he’s a Chiefs fan!” Here’s the story behind how I ended up here.
A couple of weeks ago, a customer ordered a photo printed on metal that I had sold out of earlier that day. I had to reorder it and have it drop-shipped to her address in Buffalo. Another week later, I set up at a festival and sold several metal prints, so I needed to restock. I placed the order but forgot to change the shipping address back to my house, so the prints were sent to my customer in Buffalo. Rather than pay to have them shipped back, I decided to make a trip to Buffalo to pick them up. I grabbed my cameras and drone, thinking I might stop along the way to take a few photos. While driving, I was listening to 97 Rock, which mentioned they were the official radio station of the Buffalo Bills. That gave me a lightbulb moment, you know like the old cartoon characters when they came up with an idea, lightbulb over head—maybe I should stop by Highmark Stadium to take some photos of the new stadium. After picking up my photos, I drove to the stadium. I even considered taking aerial shots with my drone, but I quickly realized you can’t fly within a certain distance of the stadium around practice or game times. I waited about an hour for most people to clear out and then walked around the outside to capture today's photos.
