Good afternoon! Happy Wednesday!
Since today was a bit dreary, I decided to stay home and look through some photos I took a few days ago. One in particular caught my eye—while driving down Culver Rd near Rosewood and Hazelwood, I noticed the beauty of pink cherry blossoms framing a red church door. I made a mental note to come back another day, and as I often do, I kept driving. By the time I reached Main St, I knew I had to turn back. It was just too beautiful not to photograph.
When I returned, I got out of the van and snapped a few shots. I thought I was satisfied, but a few minutes after leaving, I began thinking about what I captured and what I could have done differently. Still, I continued on to my original destination, Highland Park. Once there, I took a quick drive through the park, but my mind kept drifting back to that church door. I didn't even park my van, I knew I had to go back. I am glad I did, because the photo I am sharing is what I envisioned as I drove away the first time. So here is my photo of the red church door framed by beautiful pink cherry blossoms, titled, "Open Invitation"
I hope your day is Wonderful, filled with Peace, Love, and Lots of Smiles. Thanks for looking!
