The best light of the day is short, and it's worth planning around. This was the last little stretch before sunset, when everything softened. If you're planning a wedding, engagement, family, or senior session, build a bit of golden hour into your timeline. You'll be so glad you did.

Some sessions just feel like home, because they are. 🤍

I had the honor of attending this sweet mama’s birth for her youngest, so photographing the whole crew a few months later was a full-circle moment.

I have to shine a spotlight on these outfits. Abbi curated this so well. Creamy linens, soft plaids, and florals that coordinated without matching a single thing. This momma nailed it!

Shooting right at home in Mt Solon let the kids be fully themselves in their comfort zones, and that is the realness I’m always trying to chase.

I love when families give me permission to step into the places they call home. So special.

I’ll be the first to admit, I haven’t been super excited about letting go of summer this year.

But then this session popped up in my memories and reminded me just how much beauty there is in the transition between seasons.

Grateful for this little reminder to love the day you’re in. 🤍

Also, if you haven’t been to , I highly recommend taking the time to go—especially with the holiday season approaching! It’s such a beautiful place to experience this time of year.

And forever grateful for all the Photography by Jo couples I’ve gotten to meet, photograph, and grow to love along the way. 🤍
