Colorful Broccoli Florets :)

Don't they look like one? This shot I captured a while ago in Vermont in Autumn, totally reminds me of broccoli florets, that too colrful. Fall is the season I adore the most. Each year I look forward to it. The crisp, cold air, leaves falling, leaves turning colors - everything in fall gives me energy, vibes. Vibes to get out and photograph more.

Splendid view of Two Jack Lake! I captured this view of Two Jack Lake from Lake Minnewanka Scenic Drive. Two Jack Lake, much like any other landscape in Banff region, has so many different views that one can enjoy. You can visit Two Jack Lake by following directions directly from highway and you shall land up at a spot that gives a view that is from a level down to the Lake's level. If you instead go visit, Lake Minnewanka and then take Lake Minnewanka Scenic Drive toward Two Jack Lake, you shall land up on a winding road coming down toward the lake. At some point on this winding road up from top you get to see this view of Two Jack Lake. This view in my opinion is totally mesmerizing! If you focus right at the center further away in photo, that is where the lake totally narrows down to a single stream disappearing into the trees. Before this spot the lake is wider and wider and on each side there are trees wrapping up the lake in a way that lake has its branches flowing into the wrapers of the trees. Its difficult to explain but abosolutely fabulous to watch. I would say next time if I drive along this road... I would actually stop even a bit higher on the winding road and capture a shot from an angle up above to be able to capture the folks of lake that flow into the tree forest making it look like tentacles of lake from up above. Not sure if you notice but on the left bottom you can see the beautiful red chairs that I thought worked very well for this shot as a contrast to the blue lake.

When patterns meet in nature!

Photography is not just about gear & technique but mainly about seeing creatively. Creativity again is not exclusive. What is unique and creative to my eyes may or may not be the same for someone else. What that means is that each one of us see creatively in our own ways. Essentially any artist visualizes what they see and gives it a form whether its sculpture, painting, sketching, photography, music or any other art form.

When you look at this image at first, you might spot Canada Goose close-up. What attracted me to this view was how the ripples in water matched the pattern of his feathers. It almost like those ripples were an extension of pattern on his feathers. I myself love patterns and I am always finding those whether in nature or elsewhere. This was captured at Mass Audubon's Broadmoor Sanctuary in Natick, MA. Hope you find your pattern wherever you are!

Beautiful view through pile of rocks & logs!

When I visited Lake Moraine, while walking by the lake, I stood frozen at this spot. Sure you may find may shots, I myself did capture them, of Lake Moraine's beauty from many angles. This one was unique that it adds rustic, raw pile of rocks and fallen logs to the mix. As if we are peeking into thoes ten snow capped peaks through the rustic window! I find that the raw beauty of nature compliments the unreal, ethereal beauty of those mountains and the beautiful turquoise water. In this picture, I actually didn't even mind those people on the right side. That also addds the sense of scale and story telling to the picture. Lake Moraine is probably one of the most beautiful lakes in the world!!

Tranquility: Relaxing at the waterfront on one calm evening! Totally priceless!! Captured at Castle Island, Boston, Massachusetts. Castle Island is located on Day Boulevard in South Boston on the shore of Boston Harbor. It has been the site of a fortification since 1634. Castle Island was connected to the mainland by a narrow strip of land in 1928 and is thus no longer an island. It is currently a 22-acre recreation site and the location of Fort Independence. Parula singing it heart out!

Adult male Northern Parulas are bluish gray overall with a yellow-green patch on the back and 2 white wingbars. A chestnut band separates the male's bright yellow throat and chest. Adult females are a bit paler and typically lack the male's breast band. Males and females have distinctive white eye crescents. Immature birds are paler than adults and lack the chestnut breast band. Northern Parulas rapidly flit and hop primarily through the upper levels of the forest and subcanopy, but during migration they also forage in the understory. They tend to flutter around at the tips of branches quickly plucking insects or reaching out to grab prey. Males are particularly vocal during spring migration. [info source: allaboutbirds.org]

Colorful Junction!

Captured in one of my fall trips to Vermont. I love how the road goes across the frame and also forks off on the left. River on the right is also beautifully originating from other end of the frame only to wind down to the right both these flows leading to the mountains full of fall colors in the distant. Having those moody clouds in the sky adds a bit more to the drama. The bonus was the lush green right up front in the frame. Greens really compliement all those colors in the upper half of the frame! River, road and mountains all meeting at one spot is why I call this colorful junction. Autumn season is the best. Each year I look forward to this season to capture colors - again and again and again...
