My hope is that as you view the African section of our website (and I have a trip planned to Zambia and Namibia for September of 2018), you find yourself experiencing the wild beauty and freedom of the wilderness. You may begin to imagine what might be happening behind the eyes and in the soul of whatever animal I happen to have come across (or the one or ones for whom I waited hours!) and to have

been privileged to both witness and photograph some fabulous expression . The Mad River Valley of Vermont - my home away from home (I actually do live in New England - but in Massachusetts) - a wonderful open place where one never tires of the seasons and of what they have to offer. Here you will find color and vastness, animals and landscapes, people and the space between everlasting sameness and continual change. The people - the street art - the life - all evident in ways that are so very different from those of Vermont or of the African countries to which I have been welcomed
