Chased the sunset at this Devil’s Lake engagement session 🌅

If you can believe it, these cuties had never taken professional photos before! My goal in every session is to make you as comfortable as possible and make it about connecting with each other vs. connecting with the camera. I think these two understood the assignment just fine heheh ❤️‍🔥

Long time no post! I’ve been keeping busy with lots of behind-the-scenes work and wrapping up this wedding season. Honestly, it’s felt a little heavy to show up online when there’s so much happening in the world but lately I’ve been thinking about how important it is to keep celebrating love. I think it’s also kind of my duty now to remind people, “yes! real, intentional love & happiness & human connection exists!” so yeah, here I am, shouting this into our shared void! I’ve been really soaking in the energy at my sessions lately as they’re a chance to slow down, lean into vulnerability and be beautifully imperfect together (that’s the most real type of love there is!!!).

Anyways, this gorgeous couple is S + N and I have a lotttt more to share from their engagement session at Devil’s Lake! It was dreamy, cinematic, and beautifully real 💛
