The McCartneys Dog Photography Butch has been photographing dogs since 2003, and travels the country to find them! We are Butch and Kelsy McCartney, a husband and wife photography team.

Butch has been photographing a dog’s personality since 2004, and travels all over the country to find them! Photographing dogs started for Butch after some encouragement from his Mom to set up at his first dog show in Louisville, KY. Being around everything dogs has been a part of growing up, as Butch’s Dad built a career from drawing caricatures of every breed imaginable and setting up at dog sho

The family dog deserves a spot on the wall, and a very prominent one if you ask me!

That’s exactly what Woody’s mom did with his portrait session. It fills me up thinking of all the art I’ve sent out of the last several weeks! 🐾🖼️🥰

Woody’s portraits were created at our event held in March at Pretty Paws Grooming Salon. Next year’s event will be held on March 8th, 2027! It’s never too early to get on the list!
