Two weeks on the Colorado River April May 2026. 226 miles in Marble and Grand Canyons. This is night 1 at Hotnana Camp Marble Canyon. I almost didn’t shoot that evening, being the first day of rafting and getting organized in camp. But I did and I think the view never got better. Two weeks with 32 people in six rafts and gear boats makes us family. I hold dear every person met on this journey. Our guides and the staff of Grand Canyon White Water and ARR are maybe the best part of the trip. They are outstanding an excellent in everything they do. I can’t know how they can work so hard in such a very harsh environment and always display ultimate enthusiasm and patience. Once I said to a guy, “ I hope some day I can go on an adventure like the ones National Geographic shows on TV” and now I did. Actually, for the second time. It takes me home. As John Muir said” Going out is going in”. More to come
