Devin, Class of 2027. I can't just post the photos without a story. That would not be normal for me. So buckle up and get ready!

For Devin's session, we started at Lowville Academy for some football field photos. The mission, get some cool relaxed photos to celebrate Devin's love for football. We might have gotten some pretty great expressions after I told him to think about a rival team...which will remain unnamed because I’m not trying to start a war on social media. That little trick always gets me either the best laugh or the perfect serious face. All in good fun!

After the football photos, we took some photos in front of the school then ventured to Devin's grandfathers property. The best part about taking photos at his grandfather’s property was hearing Devin share the story behind it...how his grandfather acquired the land, used sand right from the property for his business, and, even after all these years, still travels for the business and continues the work he started.

Do you see the sign in the first photo? We found that one next to his grandfather's office. Devin and his mom flipped it over for the photo. We were glad no crazy spiders popped out. This was such a great way to honor the work his grandfather has done through the years while creating a senior photo experience for Devin that was what he wanted, outdoor, authentic, and unique to him!

This month, I will share a video recap from this session so you can see the creative process behind the scenes!

Happy Senior year Devin!

"The Art of Becoming" is happening this Sunday in collaboration with NNY Women Who Lead and A & A Equine Therapy at Holistic Healing Sanctuary, a day created for women to step away from the noise, reconnect with themselves, and experience rest, creativity, reflection, and a soulful restoration.

I’ll be leading a guided journaling and art experience to help you reflect on and close out the summer season, then get rooted in one intention you want to carry with you into the season ahead.

We’ll also slow things down with a sound bath from Dr. Holly Hanley of The Garden alongside the healing horse circle, followed by mini self-care experiences where you can explore Equine Therapy, a Nature Walk, Tuning Forks, Reiki + more.

Give yourself an afternoon to simply be, create, reflect, and reconnect.

🎟️ Pre-registration is required. Tickets are $25. Comment "I want in" and we can send you the direct link. Registration closes Friday, Aug 28th at midnight!

Recent conversation with a high school senior’s mom: We want to book you because we want unique, different photos and we feel like you can create that for us.
Yes yes and yes! One-of-a-kind sessions, custom created for each person, creative, empowering, built on moodboards and my sketches of photo ideas. Honestly, over the past year, I have been bored looking at Pinterest ideas for ideas. I prefer the ideas that come naturally during our consultations and looking at art paintings, sculptures, old photos, old magazines and music for inspo.
So if you’re looking for photos that are a little unexpected, at fun-unique to you locations… or with a custom set idea and built around who you are…yeah, you’re probably my people. Let’s create something cool together 🙌🙌🙌🙌

Donovan, General Brown class of 2026.

We started Donovan’s senior session at the General Brown High School field for sports photos then a second, relaxing location that he picked out for some classic, relaxed photos. I love traveling to fun locations for senior photos to make everyone have their own personal style to their session!!

I can't wait to share the behind-the-scenes from this session are SO good. Especially the photos we created at the end of the session (photos not shared yet.) Who would like to see behind the scenes from this high school senior session?

Thank you Donovan & Kietha for booking me to celebrate Donovan's senior year with this awesome photo experience!

The joy in these photos from my session with Allisha & Annice from & A Equine Therapy at Holistic Healing Sanctuary shows a glimpse into what to expect when you visit their sanctuary.

A few months ago, Allisha and Annice told me about their dream business and what they wanted to bring to our area, equine therapy and a space where people could experience healing, connection, and growth alongside horses. I’ve gotten to be a part of their journey helping them build their brand and business, and creating photos that give the viewer the feel of the love and care at the sanctuary. Being out on their property, hanging out with the horses, laughing with these two and actually getting to capture so much of what we had talked about was pretty special.

Earlier this week, we even got to be on the radio together talking about our first collaboration, The Art of Becoming, an experience they’re creating with me and my community group, NNY Women Who Lead, happening August 30th! We really wanted to create an afternoon for women to just PAUSE. Summer is busy. We’re trying to squeeze in all the things, all the fun, all the time with our families and now we’re already heading into back-to-school and another new season.

Think of this as your Self-Care Sunday. Journaling, art, horses, a sound bath, poetry reading, and other amazing services! Being outside, connecting with other women and just giving yourself a few hours to slow down.

And perfect timing for sharing these photos, A&A Equine Therapy shared a post today about the work they’re doing and an opportunity for people interested in Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy. If you’ve been curious about what they do beyond our upcoming event, go check out their page.

If you want to join us for The Art of Becoming on August 30th, we still have a few spots left! Comment I'm in & I will send you the info!

When life is happening, good or bad, find your people to help remind you of your why you started, why you arrived, what you have been working on. Find your people that will tell you the truth… no matter what. Find your people that will come over your house on a random Tuesday night for snacks and an 80’s Halloween movie.
And when you find your people, celebrate your friendship, your joy, your chaos. The people you can be you around will make the biggest impact on your life.

Today, I’m feeling sappy and wanted to celebrate friendship with some of the most wonderful women I know. I love all the squished faces, hugs and smiles while enjoying life & fun events! With a heart of gratitude, I deeply appreciate all of you 💙💜🩷🥰

If you are still reading this, I have a mini challenge for you. Send a message to one friend today, it doesn’t have to be long. Maybe it’s a, hey friend, I hope your day is super awesome sauce or maybe you write your own message. Or maybe you send a short voice message. 🩷Let’s spread the love together. If you are in for the challenge leave a heart in the comments.
