Burns Photography & Formal Wear, Inc. Thank you for all your years of support. Burns Photography is a locally owned and operated studio founded by Jack Burns.

His son, Gary, now operates the business. The studio has over 55 years combined experience in creating quality portraiture, and utilizes state-of-the-art digital cameras, image enhancement, and computer graphics programs. Gary Burns, Master Photographer, A.S.P., has won numerous awards in both state and national competition. He has won several Court of Honors for his portraits (the highest award g

iven by Professional Photographers Society of New York). His portraits have also been selected for inclusion in the Traveling Loan Collection (the highest award given by Professional Photographers of America). Walt Disney World and Eastman Kodak have also selected Gary's portraits for exhibition at Walt Disney World Epcot Center. Gary received his Master of Photography Award in 1994 from the Professional Photographers of America and was accepted into The American Society of Photographers. He is the only Master Photographer in the North Country.

I am posting this to inform my customers that I am closing my studio. I have sold the building to Lucky Spa and plan on moving out in the near future. Because of this, I will not be able to provide tuxedos for proms or weddings. I want to thank all of my previous customers for their patronage. I have met so many great people and spent some of their best occasions with them. Hopefully, they will cherish their portraits for a long time.
It's been a great ride, but it's time to move on to retirement. Thank you.

Just letting everyone know that Burns Photography is still open. As I am slowly transitioning into semi retirement, I am open by appointment only. The pandemic has certainly affected my business. I have downs sized and moved to the rear section of my building on Arsenal St.
