And thatโs a wrap on my 2026 wedding season!
So many weddings and elopements were captured this summer, and each and every one of my brides was as gorgeous as ever. Seriously, what a season. ๐ฅน
As of today, 5 wedding/elopement galleries have officially been delivered!
1 more will be delivered within the next 2 weeks.
Another will be delivered mid September.
1 will be delivered by end of September.
And another 2 will be delivered by October!
Wedding season is truly a full-time commitment all on its own!
Between shooting, culling, editing, uploading, backing everything up, and delivering thousands of images, there is A LOT happening behind the scenes.
I know everyone is SO excited to receive their galleries, and trust me, I am just as excited to get them into your hands! But I do want to give my sweet little reminder to please, please, please try not to check in every other week, haha. ๐ค
There is a turnaround time for a reason and those are also in your contract.
During wedding season, I am not only editing weddings. I am still photographing and editing my regular sessions every week, while also continuing to shoot additional weddings and elopements throughout the season.
So, your wedding gallery does not immediately begin being edited the day after your wedding. It enters my editing queue!
For example, if your wedding was the 6th wedding I photographed this season, that means there are multiple wedding galleries ahead of yours that need to be completed and delivered first. So even if your wedding was 3 weeks ago, that does not necessarily mean I have been actively editing your full gallery for 3 weeks.
Everyone receives sneak peeks within 7 working days of their wedding, and I usually send a pretty generous amount (typically around 30โ50 images!)
Sneak peeks are edited separately so you have beautiful photos to enjoy, share, and obsess over while you wait. Once those are delivered, your full gallery enters the editing queue.
My current turnaround times are:
Regular sessions: 2-5 weeks
Elopements: 4โ8 weeks
Weddings: 6โ14 weeks
I do not rush my editing, and I truly give my all to every single gallery. When it is your turn in my queue, your wedding gets that same time, attention, and love.
And because I apparently don't know how to stop myself (seriously) I also very often go above and beyond the contracted image amount and include additional images whenever I can.
By all means, you are always welcome to check in! I will never be upset with someone for being excited about their photos. I just ask that you keep your contracted turnaround time in mind before sending multiple follow-ups, especially only a couple of weeks after your wedding. Every email and message I stop to answer is a little bit of time and focus taken away from the thing we both want me doing- editing your beautiful gallery!
Something to remember: I do not spend all day every day editing! I am split between actual shoot time, as well as being a mother and wife!
I promise you all I am not forgetting your galleries. Trust me I lay awake at night thinking about the thousands of images in my queue, haha!
