It’s been so fun watching the boys develop and interact with each other. Robert is always doing something silly and Jesse is ready to laugh and encourage his brother in whatever he’s doing. (Good or bad)

It’s a privilege and deep joy to mother two souls. These days feel short (the nights are still long) and truly the happiest of times for our little family.

We took an adventure to Burnside Farms last night and it was such a wonderful time together. 🌻

I have multiple newborn sessions next week and I’m continually grateful I get to do this while being a mama. Nothing brings me more fulfillment than being a mother to our boys but I love the creativity photography offers. And I love meeting new people, it’s so fun and inspiring.

If I’m honest, I miss living ten minutes from the Capitol…it’s one of my favorite spots. But I’m so grateful my job gets me back into the city so often.

This session was very humid and the kiddos are both at busy stages but the parents were amazing. They laughed, brought lots of snacks and made it an all around good time. I love summer sessions at the Capitol.

What a joy to celebrate this sweet one year old!

An older friend once told me to “celebrate the happy things in life, Jessica” That advice stuck with me. Now that her husband has passed it holds an even deeper value. It doesn’t need to be big, expensive or far away. Little things like noticing when Robert reaches for my hand, smelling the honeysuckle as we walk the lane or the way the sky changes at sunset. It’s all worth celebrating and noticing. 🤍
