there’s something ohhh soooo special about getting to take photos for family, especially during such a special season of life like senior year. senior year is such a sweet, fleeting chapter of life and photos are the best way to savor each and every moment.

we took clare’s senior photos in pentwater, michigan back in july. this also happened to be when the canadian wildfires brought smoke all the way to our little corner of the world. it’s so crazy how something happening so far away can reach so many places. but, the hazy skies gave us the dreamiest, most film-like glow. a little reminder that sometimes the most unexpected things make for the most beautiful memories. 🫶🏼
