One of the more challenging obstacles to over come when shooting a city skyline like Chicago is the tremendous amounts of tourists and people in general enjoying their time downtown. If you stay late enough and are patient enough you can eventually nail your shot.

I was fortunate enough to travel to Florida this past week to get some amazing shots. Unlike past years, this time I had a lot of stormy and dramatic skies to work with.

This old hurricane destroyed pier provided me a beautiful sunset capture with the sun finally breaking through the storm clouds near sunset.

I recently had the opportunity to travel up to northern Minnesota to photograph black bears. While all the bears are beautiful and stunning, the cinnamon black bear really captured my creative side. Their color is so stunning, especially when the sun lights up their fur.

This little guy was born in February and already able to climb trees to avoid danger and take naps.

I spent 3 days this past week in northern Minnesota photographing bears at the Vince Schute Wildlife Sanctuary and this little one stole the show while showing me his great climbing skills.

Despite being young and an agile climber, momma bear is always nearby to ward off danger and call the cubs down when she senses safety.
