💛 **A Little Update & A Big Thank You** 💛

First and foremost, I am incredibly grateful for every opportunity I have to photograph your families, seniors, athletes, teams, and special moments. Your trust and support mean more to me than you know.

I do want to give everyone a little update. There has been a slight delay in uploading and sending out galleries due to a significant and unexpected family emergency. Unfortunately, some things in our personal lives have needed to take priority.

I am working as hard as I absolutely can through everything, and **my goal is to have the remaining galleries uploaded and sent out throughout this week.**

I also want to apologize if you have messaged me and haven't received a response yet. I truly haven't even had the opportunity to sit down, go through messages, and respond to everyone. **Please know that I have not forgotten about you or your photos.** ❤️

Right now, I am simply asking for a little extra patience, grace, and understanding as we navigate what is happening in our personal lives while continuing to keep the business moving forward.

Your photos are important to me. **You are important to me.** I just need a little extra time right now to make sure I am taking care of the people who need me while also giving your galleries the attention they deserve.

📌 **A Quick Update for My Sports Parents!**

I truly appreciate each and every one of you and your patience! This is especially for all of my **sports parents** who are eagerly waiting for their links.

Please remember that links can take up to **8 business days** to be delivered. Business days are counted **Monday through Friday**, excluding weekends.

I also want to be transparent: while I do work on Saturdays and Sundays, I am not always working during those timeframes specifically to edit or upload links. I also need to take occasional breaks from the computer and balance my time accordingly. I truly appreciate your understanding and patience as I work through everything.

**Today is the first day of school, and with it comes so many “firsts.”** 📚🍎✏️

A first day of kindergarten. A first day of middle school. A first day of high school. Maybe even the first day of their senior year—the beginning of so many *lasts* as well.

And for all my fellow parents… **it’s okay to feel your feelings today.** ❤️

Be proud. Be excited. Be nervous. Be emotional. Shed the tears. Take all the pictures. Hold onto those hugs a little longer.

Because somehow, in what feels like the blink of an eye, the tiny hands we once held are carrying backpacks and walking into another chapter of their lives.

**Time truly is a thief.** So today, let yourself feel it all. The joy, the pride, the sadness, and the overwhelming love that comes with watching our babies grow.

Here’s to all the firsts, all the new beginnings, and all the memories still waiting to be made. ❤️🍎

🎓 **SENIOR SPOTLIGHT | CARSYN | CLASS OF 2027** 🎓

Meet **Carsyn**, Class of 2027! ❤️💙💛

This senior session actually started in a pretty special way. Carsyn’s mom took advantage of a **Senior Session Gift Basket** that we donated in support of the **Eisenhower Softball girls**, and I’m so glad it brought Carsyn in front of my camera!

Carsyn is a **Youngsville native** whose high school journey changed with the Youngsville school shutdown. As he continues his story at **Eisenhower**, it was important that his session didn't erase one chapter to celebrate another. We wanted to show his **Youngsville roots** while also honoring his current chapter as an **Eisenhower Knight**.

Because both are part of his story.

Carsyn is also a **well-decorated Boy Scout**, which probably explains why being outdoors comes so naturally to him. 🌲🏕️ Between scouting, the outdoors, and of course his beautiful truck, we had plenty of pieces of Carsyn's personality to work into his session.

He started off a little shy, but by the middle of the session, Carsyn completely opened up. He was willing to try different things, roll with my creative ideas, and stick with the process — even when I had him wondering where exactly I was going with something. 😂📸

And don't worry about the **eagle in the landscape picture... he was a paid actor.** 🦅😂
We spared no expense for this one.

But in all seriousness, this session became so much more than just senior pictures. It was about telling Carsyn's story — where he started, where he is now, and the things that have shaped him along the way.

**Youngsville roots. Eisenhower Knight. Boy Scout. Outdoorsman. Class of 2027.** 🎓🌲🛻

Carsyn, thank you for trusting the creative process and letting me capture this chapter. I hope when you look back at these images years from now, you see a little bit of *all* the places and experiences that helped make you who you are.

How Does Picture Day Have Me Feeling? 🥹📸

**“You want me to do WHAT?!” 😂**

Yep… that thought definitely crosses my mind sometimes when I look at what I’ve signed myself up for.

Then I remember how incredibly **GRATEFUL** I am.

Grateful for every coach who trusts me with their team.
Grateful for every parent who supports my photography.
Grateful for every athlete who steps in front of my camera—even when pictures aren't exactly their favorite thing. 😂
And grateful for every opportunity that pushes me outside my comfort zone and lets me create something new.

Sometimes I walk into Picture Day with an idea that makes even *me* think, **“Wait… you want me to do WHAT?!”** 📸😂

But that’s part of the fun.

Trying the crazy lighting setup. Moving the lights *one more time.* Climbing up, getting down low, fixing uniforms, making everyone laugh, and probably saying, **“Okay, trust me on this one!”** more times than I can count.

Because Picture Day isn't just about taking a picture.

It's capturing the uniform they worked hard to wear, the team they became part of, the friendships they made, and a season of their life that someday they'll wish they could go back to for just a minute.

So how does Picture Day have me feeling?

A little **“YOU WANT ME TO DO WHAT?!”** 😳
A whole lot excited.
Maybe slightly chaotic. 😂
But most of all…

I’m looking for athletes who are willing to **get creative, try something different, and let me push my new lighting equipment to the fullest!**
Right now, I’m mainly looking to work with **indoor sports**, including:
🏀 Basketball
📣 Cheer
⭐ All Star Cheerleading
🏐 Volleyball

If weather permitting possibly looking for cheerleading fall sports outside, and soccer.

These sessions are all about experimenting! I want to play with **dramatic lighting, shadows, movement, bold poses, and creative sports portraits** while learning exactly what this new equipment can do.
