I can’t stress enough how important it’s been for my growth to go back and revisit old sets. There’s something special about seeing a session a second time after you’ve had time away from it to find new appreciation from shots you overlooked before.
This is probably still one of my favorite pieces of art and probably the first session I had where I felt pretty proud of myself 🥹

It was the first time I really did an editorial that got to read as a public diary and idk, I just love that.

Big shout out to Benjamin Mann for letting me waterboard him for the sake of the vision, and to Drue Schnelle | Photographer for helping hold down the goodwill fish tank to make it possible.

This year for my besties birthday, we literallly just got a whole bunch of creatives friends together and just took a super chill weekend away. It was lowkey kinda the best watching everyone bring different pieces to just put together something fun. DeCon brought lights and fog and all the things, Zhanel Myktybek brought some sickkkk wardrobing, kenan_mcintosh_hicks made sure no one starved while we were shootin, and this was the outcome. I’ve been meaning to drop these for a SECOND on the grid and I’m finally getting around to posting our usual scheduled content.

Sometimes it’s nice to just go play dress up with your besties and try and create and do all the weird things until you make something that feels like art. I’ve always struggled with imposter syndrome, creative blocks, and feeling like my work isn’t good enough which is silly because I feel like art isn’t meant to be “good” or have to perform, it’s just meant to make you feel. So here’s to me regularly posting again, (no for real yell at me if I disappear) and stay tuned for more of the creative stuff I’ve been putting together these past few months 👀
