I’ve been meaning to drop these for a SECOND on the grid and I’m finally getting around to posting our usual scheduled content.

Sometimes it’s nice to just go play dress up with your besties and try and create and do all the weird things until you make something that feels like art. I’ve always struggled with imposter syndrome, creative blocks, and feeling like my work isn’t good enough which is silly because I feel like art isn’t meant to be “good” or have to perform, it’s just meant to make you feel. So here’s to me regularly posting again, (no for real yell at me if I disappear) and stay tuned for more of the creative stuff I’ve been putting together these past few months 👀

Little fun fact, I actually learned photography in a traditional film class on a canon ae1 in highschool, and that’s actually what made me fall in love with photography as a career.

I got asked in set last week what I do when I’m in the midst of a creative rut, and to be honest it’s this.

I get together with a couple of my favorite creatives, with a minimal plan, go somewhere cool, and just create and challenge myself indifferent ways, whether it be experimenting with different cameras, lighting, compositions, etc. I think the biggest thing you can do as an artist when you’re struggling with creativity, is to lean on your circle of other creat be who inspire you.
