I miss 2010-2016 Instagram. What a time. While I absolutely love it today still, the features, and how it allows photographers and creatives to highlight their work-it feels like it has become just that. A highlight reel. I miss the realness and the fun aspect it used to be. Now it feels like it’s competitive and forced. No one knows who we are they just know what they see. So here’s my petition to bring back what we love. Share what ignites you and who you are. Share your creativity even if it’s not “aesthetic”, it’s yours. For my mental health, ai know that this platform has become scary at time and it can get overwhelming feeling the need to post everyday, and compare your work to everyone else’s, and it shouldn’t be. It should feel safe and fun so I’m going to start pushing for that again; regardless of the algorithms are on my side or not
