Well, Mother Nature definitely had opinions about Jansma family picture day. 😂 Fog, drizzle, rain…we got a little bit of everything!

But when you plan months in advance to get everyone together, you make it work! So glad I got to meet this crew and capture some updated family pictures for them. 🤍

Apparently Mother Nature wasn’t quite done testing us. 😂 After already rescheduling once because of weather, we decided to just go for it this time—and spent the evening taking breaks between rain bands, dodging sprinkles, and somehow even managed to catch a few brief moments of sunshine.

Since Jesse is the youngest in his family, we also had the fun challenge of finding some fresh locations to give his session its own look—and I think we pulled it off!

Also, before you decide I’ve officially become the photographer who puts every senior on a basketball hoop… this one was their idea. 😂 And honestly, his driveway hoop was the perfect choice. I’m guessing there’s no way to count the hours he’s spent shooting baskets here over the years. 🏀

We’ll wrap things up later this fall with his indoor basketball session. Can’t wait for round two, Jesse! 👊🏻

A morning senior preview?! Yep. 😂 Because apparently I thought I could promise Hayden a preview last night and actually follow through. Spoiler alert: I did not. 🙈

I got to spend A WHOLE DAY with this beauty—starting with a sports session and then moving on to her regular outdoor senior session. And we got SO. MANY. GOOD. ONES. that I’m seriously struggling to pick favorites, so we’re just going to make this a two-part preview. 😉

She’s one of those people who makes my job ridiculously easy because there is never a shortage of laughs, jokes, randomness, and new slang for me to pretend I understand. 😂 She keeps me laughing, is always completely herself, and somehow manages to be both hilariously random and genuinely one of the sweetest, kindest girls. And somehow, she even nailed the serious look after warning me there was zero chance she would. 😂

So here’s part ONE… because apparently choosing favorites was just too much to ask of me. 📸✨

Senior Sunday featuring Miss Jordyn! 🤍

This girl brought all the good vibes to our evening! We explored a new location, had plenty of laughs, found ourselves in a few random adventures, and somehow managed to work in more than a few indirect law enforcement tales along the way. 😂😉

Jordyn, it was so much fun getting to know you and spending the evening together! And those dimples?! Seriously, they deserve their own spotlight. 😍
