Awestruck Photos offers individual and group photography instruction to bring out the photographer in you! Individually tailored instruction is available and can be arranged directly with Dawn through Messenger or text. These sessions are uniquely designed based on your stated goals, using any camera including your cell phone. Some common requests include how to take better pictures, file editing
and storage systems, and tips on setting up a photography business and working with clients. You can bring a friend and get instruction for two for $150 per hour. Beginner Photography classes are three hours, hold a maximum of 6 students and require a DSLR. The priority is to teach you how to use manual settings to gain technical control of your images, with a second class offering composition and perspective to produce attention grabbing photos that draw the viewer in. Meetups are two-hour guided photography gatherings of up to 12 people using any camera, including cell phones. While these are instructor-led, they offer experiential opportunities, not curriculum-driven teaching. I am a consultant for Virginia Beach Photography Group. I design, schedule, and lead the events; they handle advertising, set pricing, and manage registration.
