GhentitePhotography Military Ceremonies | Parties | Fundraising Events | Performing Arts I am a Navy veteran who is currently living in northern Virginia.

When I lived in Hampton Roads, I primarily photographed nature, wildlife, and various events when I lived in Hampton Roads since 2011. I previously lived in the Ghent neighborhood, hence my business name. My favorite events I was able to photo document were marriage equality rallies in Norfolk and Richmond. Capturing the emotion and passion of those who attended the rallies was very fulfilling tha

t sparked me wanting to cover more events and ceremonies. During my last Navy assignment, I was a member of my command’s photography team. It gave me the privilege of photographing change of command, reelinstment, and retirement ceremonies. The latter is my overall favorite type of event to photograph. Serving our country for 20+ years in a big sacrifice for our military men and women and their families. It is an honor to capture their big finale before going back to civilian life. I updated my "About" information last summer, but I need to make a post about it.

I moved to Portsmouth Virginia so I am no longer available to photograph events or take portraits in northern Virginia, DC, or Maryland. Additionally, I am not accepting any clients in Hampton Roads either.

I will still occasionally post photos from local attractions (like I did with the Norfolk Zoo in October), festivals, and nature pics.

I hope you had a good New Years Eve and 2022 will bring you joy and wonderful memories. Thank you to the many clients I had in 2021. It was a joy and pleasure to preserve special memories of children's first birthdays, a 60th birthday celebration, weddings, and a surprise proposal. I am looking forward to 2022 allowing me to capturing more memorable moments of those in the northern Virginia and DC area.
