GhentitePhotography Military Ceremonies | Parties | Fundraising Events | Performing Arts I am a Navy veteran who is currently living in northern Virginia.

When I lived in Hampton Roads, I primarily photographed nature, wildlife, and various events when I lived in Hampton Roads since 2011. I previously lived in the Ghent neighborhood, hence my business name. My favorite events I was able to photo document were marriage equality rallies in Norfolk and Richmond. Capturing the emotion and passion of those who attended the rallies was very fulfilling tha

t sparked me wanting to cover more events and ceremonies. During my last Navy assignment, I was a member of my command’s photography team. It gave me the privilege of photographing change of command, reelinstment, and retirement ceremonies. The latter is my overall favorite type of event to photograph. Serving our country for 20+ years in a big sacrifice for our military men and women and their families. It is an honor to capture their big finale before going back to civilian life.
