A little reminder as we head into busy mini session season 🤍

Please be mindful when booking a mini session. When you reserve a spot, that time is specifically held for you. I turn other inquiries away, plan my schedule around those appointments, and count on those spots being filled.

Lately, I’ve had several mini sessions cancel just a few days or a week before the session date. I completely understand that life happens and things come up, but last minute cancellations are incredibly difficult for a small business to recover from. At that point, I usually don’t have enough time to fill the spot with someone else, which leaves me with an empty hour or more that I could have booked to another client.

Because of this, I want to clarify my mini session policy:

Your retainer is nonrefundable and is used to reserve your specific time slot.

If you cancel during the week of your scheduled mini session, your retainer will not be refunded and it cannot be transferred to a new date. At that point, there simply isn’t enough time for me to reasonably fill your original spot.

Please only book a mini session if you are confident you can make it. I genuinely appreciate everyone who respects my time, my schedule, and the work that goes into creating these sessions. 🤍

Every booking matters so much to my small business, and I appreciate you understanding that last minute cancellations have a real impact.
