A Future Traveling Photographer…

Lately, I’ve been feeling so excited about the future and the life I can see my husband and me creating together.

Renovating Big Bertha has honestly been one of my favorite things we’ve done together. I have absolutely loved taking this old motorhome that I purchased from my father and slowly turning her into something that feels like us. Every little project, every update, every frustrating moment and every “look what we did!” moment has made me love her even more.

And somewhere along the way, Big Bertha started feeling like more than just an RV project. She started feeling like a glimpse into our future.

My dream is to become a traveling photographer — photographing weddings, couples, families, and beautiful stories wherever the road takes us. 📸✈️

And my dream for my husband is for him to be able to travel and play disc golf professionally. 🥏

How amazing would it be if the things we both love could become the way we make our living? Traveling from place to place in Big Bertha, me photographing incredible people and him playing disc golf, while we get to experience new cities, beautiful scenery, different states, and maybe eventually even more of the world together.

I know it’s a big dream, and I know there’s a lot that would have to happen to make it all work… but I can see it so clearly. I have an established life here, but my goal in life is to see and live the 🌎 world!

A life with more freedom. More adventure. More time together. Doing what we love and making memories along the way with our two doggies! (My kids + future grandbabies can come visit)

For the first time in a while, I feel genuinely excited about what the next chapter could look like.

Maybe Big Bertha isn’t just something we’re renovating.

Maybe she’s the beginning of something really beautiful.

No, I don’t see this happening in the next two years. Maybe three? Maybe five… but it sure is exciting to have something to look forward to!
