Single-digit temps, fresh snow, and a stillness that feels sacred ❄️

This little slice of Narnia in Star Valley never fails to fill me with awe. Grateful I managed to get myself out of bed for a quick morning behind my camera, doing one of the things I love most.

Also, still really impressed with this rugged little Olympus OM-5. Definitely more than I expected from an ultra lightweight mirrorless SLR! Love having a small, yet capable, option in my camera bag :)

I heard about Fall Creek Falls awhile back and finally made it out there last night. Thanks to Labor Day weekend madness, the view of the falls from the top was packed. There was even a couple taking their wedding photos when I arrived! So, I slipped down to the bottom for some quieter views and ended up loving that perspective too. Ridiculously accessible and worth every minute, even with the crowds. 🌊📷✨

After driving over 40 miles of rugged forest roads into the Salt River Range, we hit Corral Creek Lake and it was nothing short of epic. Nearly 12 miles round trip, 2,000 feet of gain, and a lake that looked like it belonged in a dream. This alpine gem was next-level stunning 💙⛰️

We started off our trek with a moose and her calf below our bluff-top campsite, then hiked through wildflower meadows, rushing creeks, waterfalls, and jaw-dropping mountain views. I think Vance forgave me for the uphill miles after catching his biggest trout to date 😉🎣

Weekends like this make me pause in all the best ways. So grateful we get to live this life together. Chasing mountains, quiet moments, and memories we’ll never forget 🫶

Since arriving in Wyoming, hiking 'The Star' has become a favorite part of my routine. It's close, beautiful, and always good for the soul. I hike it often each week for the workout, but it’s the views, the fresh air, and the peace that keeps me coming back. Watching the transition from winter to spring unfold on this trail has blown my mind. The blanket of yellow blooming across the hillside feels like something out of a dream. Recently, I brought my camera along to try and capture a bit of its magic. Star Valley, you're something special. 🌟

I’ve often dreamed of fall in new England, so this past week I’ve been pinching myself daily! All thanks to my best friend 🥰 So many images… but for now I’ve downloaded a handful to my phone so I could share a glimpse of the magic. Simply too impatient to wait for the proper culling and editing, lol. If you’ve ever yearned to make this trip, do it! Endless mountains and hillsides sprinkled with the most vibrant, surreal colors you’ve ever seen are awaiting your arrival 🍂🍁

Cannot imagine a more beautiful way to finish 2022 than this 🩰🌊❤️

Feeling grateful for the opportunity I had to capture these images of the most spectacular young artist! She dances with Bossov Ballet Theatre at the MCI School and just happened to be in Florida visiting family. Lucky me ☺️
