I was SO excited to get in the water with them for their engagement session…
What I didn’t realize was that the ocean was about to humble me REAL quick. 😂

We were only knee deep when a huge wave came through, nearly took them out, came up to my waist, and almost took ME + my camera with it. 🫠📸🌊

And the worst part? I had ZERO protection on my camera. 🙃

Needless to say… lesson learned.
I will NEVER be getting in the ocean like that again without proper camera protection.

But did I go back in? Of course. LOL
I just watched the waves a LOT more carefully the second time.

Because sometimes getting the shot means getting in the water… just maybe not getting taken out by it. 😅

When he reached out to tell me they were visiting from out of town and wanted my help planning the proposal, I was all in. We met on a beautiful, clear morning at one of my favorite beaches, and the moment was absolutely perfect.

Capturing milestones like these is such an honor and a reminder of how much trust my clients place in me. Being invited into such meaningful moments truly warms my heart, and I’m so grateful to preserve memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.
