Last night, I had the opportunity to step inside the arena with the bull riders.

And honestly… I was scared. Like, literally shaking. 😂

But I knew I had to do it. So I tightened my f***y pack, talked to Dad, talked to God, took a breath and said, LET’S DO THIS.

The crazy part? My heart never started racing. Maybe it was the nerves. Maybe it was the fact that I was standing in the middle of an opportunity I had prayed for but never really thought I’d be ready for.

Either way, I did it.

And sometimes, right in the middle of a moment, you look around and realize…

You’re standing in the middle of prayers coming true. 🤍

Kirsten + Joe | Maternity Session

This one felt extra special. We spent the evening wandering around St. Sebastian River Preserve, chasing that beautiful golden light and capturing this little season before baby Malachi made his way into the world.

Kirsten was absolutely glowing, and the colors, the light, the two of them together… it all just worked. There are some sessions where everything feels easy, and this was one of those nights.

I love getting to photograph people in these in-between moments, when life is changing, a little unknown, and so incredibly exciting.

Apparently our September drinks have been hiding in the bushes until it was safe to come out.

THE SEPTEMBER MENU IS HERE! 🍂☕️

And this one is extra fun because YOU helped us name it! Throughout our Flight Nights, we asked our attendees to help us name some of the drinks they were tasting... and you guys absolutely understood the assignment. 😂 We had SO many hilarious names to choose from, and these were the ones that made the cut:

😈 NUT TODAY SATAN
White chocolate drizzle, brown sugar + pistachio, topped with whipped cream.

And if pistachio is sounding a little familiar... 👀 she's BACK! We first introduced pistachio in March and decided it was time for a comeback.

🍎 APPLE JACKED
Caramel drizzle, brown sugar, cinnamon + caramel apple butter, topped with cold foam.

An OG is back!! Apple Jacked first made her appearance as part of Harvest Moon last fall, and we loved her way too much to leave her there.

🤌 BADA BEAN, BADA BOOM
White chocolate drizzle, vanilla, amaretto + brown sugar, topped with whipped cream and mini chocolate chips.

Basically cannoli's caffeinated cousin. And yes, you are required to say the name with the hand. 🤌

🫐 CHAI ME CRAZY
Blueberry + chai with your choice of milk.

Sweet, spiced, fruity and just different enough to earn her spot amongst this month's chaos.

Four drinks. Some familiar flavors. Some brand new ones. And names courtesy of the wonderfully unhinged minds at our Flight Nights. 😂🫶

We couldn't wait until September 1st so they are available starting TODAY!!

And for everyone already emotionally attached to pumpkin, don't worry. Pumpkin will still be available through November!

We’ve all heard the saying, “Love what you do and you’ll never work a day in your life.”

Honestly? I call bu****it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Love what you do and you’ll probably work harder than you ever have.

You’ll work late nights. You’ll answer emails when you should probably be sleeping. You’ll edit when everyone else is relaxing. You’ll constantly think about how you can do better, create better, serve your clients better, and keep building something you’re proud of.

But the difference is… you actually care.

Photography has never felt like “just a job” to me. It’s something I’ve poured a ridiculous amount of myself into, and yeah, sometimes it’s exhausting. But when I get to look back at the work I’ve created and know I helped someone remember a moment they’ll have forever?

That makes every thing worth it.

So no, I don’t think loving what you do means you’ll never work a day in your life.

I think it means you’ll work your ass off for something you genuinely believe in. 📸🤍
