Everyone always talks about the ceremony — the vows, the tears, the first kiss. But nobody tells you about the moment after. When the last guest files out and the doors close behind them, and suddenly it’s just you and your person sitting in the stillness of a church that still holds the echo of everything you just said.

This is my favorite moment to steal back for every couple. No timeline pulling you toward the door, no one needing anything from you yet. Just two people sitting with the impossible weight of what they just became to each other — the flowers still fresh, the candles still lit, the reception still waiting.

That quiet? That’s the exhale. And it’s the one I photograph for.

One thing I hold close in every newborn session — let the moments happen.

It’s easy to get caught up chasing the perfect pose and miss what’s happening in between. The little coos. The squirms. The expressions that nobody asked for and nobody could recreate. Those are the moments.

I love a good trend and I’ll never shy away from a fresh style or theme — but the best moments in photography aren’t made. They happen.

Those beautifully wrapped studio shots have their place, but nothing replaces the way your own light falls through your own window. No styled setup can capture what lives in the details of your child’s nursery.

Rob and Dylan, thank you for making this session feel effortless. You showed up as yourselves, let things unfold naturally, and gave me everything I needed. I’m so thrilled to deliver this gallery — I truly couldn’t narrow it down to just a few.

Welcome to the world, baby Ellis. 🤍

Putting the finishing touches on this amazing couples gallery and reliving the magic of watching them light up the room. Payton and Connor are THE example of how two peoples love for each other can touch so many lives. Congratulations to the Cherpeski’s!

Working with Jordy and Marmalade was one of those sessions that reminds you why you picked up a camera in the first place. Being able to document their connection in memorial to sweet Marmalade is something I will take with me always. The bond between them is something you can’t manufacture or direct and I consider myself lucky to have been able to document a short glimpse of it.

If you’ve spent any time in New Jersey lately, you know that can mean golden hour magic one day and a surprise downpour the next.

That’s just part of the beauty of spring engagement sessions, and honestly? Some of my favorite images have come from days that didn’t go exactly as planned. A little wind, a dramatic sky, an unexpected drizzle — these moments have a way of creating something real. Something you.

As a photographer, flexibility isn’t just a skill — it’s the whole job. Scouting backup locations, reading the light, knowing when to pivot and when to just embrace whatever the sky is throwing at us. I genuinely love the challenge, and more importantly, I love making sure you walk away with images you’re obsessed with no matter what the weather had to say about it.

And here’s something worth knowing — engagement sessions aren’t just about the photos. They’re one of the best ways to get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day. You’ll learn how I work, we’ll build a natural rhythm together, and you’ll feel so much more at ease when it counts most.

That’s why I include an engagement session with all full event packages. It’s not just a perk — it’s part of making sure your wedding day photography is everything you’ve been imagining.
Spring books fast. If you’re planning a 2025 or 2026 wedding, now is the perfect time to reach out. Let’s make something beautiful — rain or shine.
