There are so many sweet ways to capture your family ❤️
Ways for me to share your beautiful family without showing your child’s face.
Due to a recent ruling by the 7th U.S Circuit Court of Appeals. I no longer feel comfortable to be the one sharing your sweet child’s face on the internet. This is not at all a judgmental or light decision on my part. I am more than totally fine if you decide to share your photos of your cutie little ones on your social media. But I have a very public and open profile, with a small following, but still one nonetheless.
Where most people know all of their followers on their personal pages; as a business page I admit I do not know every single follower and their intentions on my page.
I am always looking for ways to be a better photographer for my clients and the safety of my clients is my number one priority through and through.
As always; I only show any photos on my social media with your permission anyway, BUT I no longer feel comfortable sharing your child’s face even with permission.
I have been sitting on this for a while on what the right thing to do is but the recent ruling has shown me it definitely is not the right thing for me to share them any longer!
There will be no other changes other than I just won’t be sharing children (other than seniors’ faces with permission) any longer.
I will share small pieces of your sweet kiddos such as the back of their sweet heads or their little toes and fingers. Really anything you feel comfortable with me sharing minus the face ❤️
It may strange as I am a family photographer. But I hope you understand this and where my heart is on this. Again, this is of no judgement for anyone else who is sharing children’s faces. It’s just no longer for me! I will keep my old work up but going forward I will not be posting their faces anymore.
