There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes of planning a photoshoot. From the locations, to the outfits, even just the reasons for booking a session - each session is so specific to the person(s) booking. Jesse knew from the first time we discussed an anniversary session, exactly where she wanted to do it. This hidden little chapel, tucked away in the woods, means a lot to her and was just one of the ways she chose to honor and include her Dad, who is no longer here, in this experience. From the chapel, to her flowers and bouquet ribbon, she planned all the details and I'm so glad we were able to make her vision come to life.

School is back in session, and that means it's time for me to play catch up on posting some late summer sessions.

I've loved this little chapel for years & was so excited to have the opportunity to spend an afternoon here for a special anniversary photoshoot in July! It's honestly such a perfect, hidden little spot that feels straight out of a storybook.

Please enjoy a major overshare of this recent session just because I LOVE IT SO MUCH!

As photographers, we do our best to control the outcome of each session by controlling lighting, posing, styles and more...but one thing we can't control is the weather. But THIS session (and Sarah's encouragement, "we're fine if it rains! We don't mind getting wet!") pushed me get through my fear of rainy sessions and now I fear I might need ALLLLLLLLL the rainy-day sessions from now on! The laughter, the fun, all those genuine smiles 🥹 This family was a breath of fresh air & I'm SO glad we didn't reschedule for "better" weather because I don't think we could've asked for anything more perfect!

June was a big month for pregnancy announcements, and I could not have been more excited! 😍 This sweet wee one has been prayed for, and is so loved already!

For those who may not know, Carter (previous post) and Tanner (this post) are brothers - and their wives are both expecting within days of one another! Those lil cousins are going to be SO precious!

I am so excited to watch our friends as they enter this next chapter! It's so nice having friends that have babies for me to love!😁

I'm late posting these....BUT better late than never!

My sweet sweet friends are having a BABY, and I could not be more excited for them! This lil one has been fervently prayed for, and is loved so deeply already. I know so many people who are looking forward to watching you grow, and celebrate all your moments, lil one!

One of the best parts of this job is getting to play secret keeper for all the best moments!!

Is there anything sweeter than a brand new baby 🥹 the answer is no. Those tiny ears and toes...my heart 😍

This lil guy snoozed through our whole session and he was as absolutely as precious as could be! Baby snuggles, in the field, during golden hour, need to be on everyones bucket list because it just doesn't get better!

A few weeks ago I met this beautiful young lady and her brand new baby brother for a session. One of the first things she said to me was she was very unsure of herself, and this was totally out of her comfort zone. I did my best to assure her there was zero pressure for her to be anything other than herself. We talked about books, TV shows, and her newly discovered love of crocheting. We both share a deep love for Anne of Green Gables...and her eyes lit up when I told her that's who she reminded me of. As we went through the session, and she became more comfortable I knew we were creating something special, and that her session was going to stay with me long after I delivered her photos.

Sometimes the viewfinder on my camera feels like a little magic window, one that I wish everyone could see themselves through, the same way I do. I know photo sessions sometimes feel awkward and unnatural, but my whole goal is to help lessen those feelings and create a space for everyone a truly enjoyable & memorable experience. You're worthy, and deserve beautiful memories - just as you are 💛 stay tuned for pt.2 with pictures of baby brother 😍

Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Williamson | 6-27-26

Hues of blue were sprinkled throughout all of Pine Ridge Baptist Church on Saturday. From the smallest of details to the brilliant bouquet that the bride carried - love and care was taken to make this day truly special for Laura & Jeremiah.

Their wedding ceremony was heartfelt and intimate, complete with a unity ceremony, prayer and a sendoff to their reception. The summer sun eventually melted into a gorgeous sunset and I snagged the bride and groom away for a few final photos & give them just a minute to reflect on their day. What a beautiful day that it was!

How cute are they!! This Granna&Me session was super special to me, I did maternity photos for both of these boys Mamas and now here they are together, growing and so stinkin cute!

One of the most meaningful things to me as a photographer, is to be invited back into your moments time after time. It truly does make my heart happy!
