Class of 2027, this is your reminder that fall is the best month on the calendar for senior pictures. Jadyn, a 2026 graduate and former Senior C.R.E.W. member, had a memorable session with us at Waterfall Glen, and the light and color did not disappoint.

One blush dress, a pair of white boots, and a whole lot of turning leaves. September and October give Chicago-area seniors soft, warm light and color you cannot get any other time of year, and that window closes fast once the leaves drop.

If you keep telling yourself next weekend, next weekend is when the color starts to go. Book your fall session now while it is still here.

Class of 2027, this is a sneak peek from Haley's downtown Chicago senior session.

Haley drove from Grand Rapids, Michigan all the way to Chicago for this one, because the vision in her head was never going to happen anywhere else. Pink everything, a shopping spree down Michigan Avenue, sequins at the Saks Fifth Avenue doorway, and a black and white moment crossing the street like it was staged for a magazine. It wasn't staged, it was just Haley being exactly who she wanted to be for a day.

This is only a preview. The full gallery is coming.

Class of 2027, this is what one senior session with C.R.E.W. looks like, from Riverside Park to Antioch.

Haven is a senior at Wilmot Union H.S. and a Senior C.R.E.W. member, and this session covered more ground than most, a garden full of coneflowers, a brick wall downtown, and a river crossing into Antioch. Every stop looked like her, no off frames, no flat poses, just the same energy in the garden as by the water.

That range is the whole point. A senior session does not have to live in one field or one backdrop to feel like you. It can move with you.

More from this gallery is on the profile now.

Class of 2027, editorial senior photos come from the setup you don't see, not lucky light.

Here's the part that never makes the final frame: off-camera flash out in the tall grass, a stone farmhouse at Riverview Farmstead in Naperville, and real direction on every single shot. That's the whole difference between basic senior pics and the editorial ones.

Madeline runs cross country at Plainfield North H.S., and she's one of the fastest on her team. So she already knows the thing most people miss: the result everyone sees is built on work nobody watches. Her photos are no different. The red dress against the limestone, the patchwork skirt out in the grass, none of it just happened.

If you want senior photos that look like you at your best, not like every other studio session, this is the vibe.

Tag a 2027 senior who wants editorial, not basic.

It was 90 degrees at Riverview Farmstead, and Madeline never once looked like she felt it. Three looks, zero slowdown.

That's the difference between someone who shows up for a session and someone who shows up for it. The heat didn't get a say. Every pose still landed, every look still felt like her, from the patchwork skirt in the grass to the red dress against the barn to the denim and wildflowers on the dirt road.

Madeline is a senior at Plainfield North H.S., Class of 2027, and this summer mini was just a preview. Her real senior session is this fall, and if this is what she brings on a 90 degree day in June, we cannot wait to see what October looks like.

If your senior wants a session that actually feels like them, heat wave or not, DM SENIOR to start planning.

Two years ago booking senior photos felt like it was ages away. Now Lily leaves for Ohio University in a couple of days.

Lily is a 2026 graduate of York H.S. and a former Senior C.R.E.W. member, and this session at Cantigny Park was one of her last as part of the team. Golden hour by the pond, a white lace look under the willow trees, and a quiet moment with her dog wearing an Ohio bandana before she heads off to college.

That's the whole point. Senior year does not feel long while you're in it, it feels long before it starts. If you're Class of 2027, this is the year to stop putting it off.
Wishing Lily nothing but the best at Ohio University.

Nikki runs cross country, plays three sports, and still made time for her Rising C.R.E.W. session in Elmhurst. She's also in more clubs than most people can list.

People tell her all the time that she's too busy for something like this, that she's already doing enough. Here's the truth: C.R.E.W. was never built to add pressure to a full schedule. We don't lock you into a shoot date and hope it works out. We build the shoot around whatever time you actually have.

That's the part people don't expect. A sophomore at York H.S. with a packed fall calendar still gets a real session, a full gallery, and a spot on the team, because the schedule bends around her, not the other way around.

If your student thinks they're too busy for something like this, they're probably exactly who C.R.E.W. is for.
DM CREW to learn about the team.

Senior Sunday kicks off with Claire, a Plainfield North H.S. senior starting her final year.

There was no better person to open this series with. Claire is a two year Senior C.R.E.W. member, she's been with this team since the very first day it existed, before there was a track record, before there was a system, just an idea and her willingness to show up for it. Three looks this week, a barn backdrop, a tree-lined path, and a garden full of hydrangeas, and every single one of them looked like her.

Here's to a senior year as bright as she is.

That parking garage didn't look like much with the flash rig and headlights everywhere, but that's exactly where Claire and Madeline's rooftop shot came from. This is the process behind the reveal you already saw, off-camera lighting, real direction, and two Senior C.R.E.W. members who showed up ready to work for it.
